Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is situated at the cliff base, offering modern and comfortable rooms. The overall service was exceptional with very friendly and hospitable staff. The location provides access to some high-standard facilities, but the inconvenience of transportation uphill was a downside. The dining options were varied, with some meals being excellent and others less satisfactory.
I couldn't get enough of the stunning views over Capri and Vesuvius from my room. The cleanliness was top-notch, but a bit more natural light would have been perfect. The small balcony was lovely to relax on, even though I needed the lights on most of the time to brighten up the space.
I decided to upgrade to a sea-view terrace at the Cliff for £70 extra, hoping for breathtaking views of Capri and Vesuvius. The room was very basic, but the safe didn't feel secure, and dealing with ants and noise was disappointing. The marvellous staff, despite appearing stressed at times, were incredibly helpful, polite, and friendly. The location was inconvenient up at the Cliff, becoming an outdoor club with non-hotel guests, although it was close to the seashore and provided easy access to Pompeii by train. Dining options tantalized my taste buds from the a la carte menu, but the repetitive pasta and salad choices might not suit everyone.
Our stay at the Cliff was a mix of wonderful views and slightly dim rooms but with great service. The location had its charm but was often crowded. The dining options were a bit pricey, but the variety was impressive.
